Elana started studying art at The Tel Aviv School of Art in 1982. She graduated in 1986 and since then has been painting either in a group or by herself.
In 1987, she studied at the Fine Arts Faculty at the Tel Aviv University
for a year.
In 1988, she spent a year in Pretoria, South Africa, where she attended
lectures at the Fine Arts Faculty at the University of South Africa
(UNISA). In 1992, she once again went to South Africa. She lived in
Durban and was accepted in the North Coast Art Group. She painted in
this framework for the two years that she was in Durban.
On her return to Israel, Elana joined a group of artists who painted at
The Israeli Artist and Sculptor Association House in Tel Aviv, under the
instruction of Mrs. Rachel Shavit, the chairperson of the Association.
She painted there for 8 years.
In 1995 Elana was accepted as a member of The Israeli Artist and
Sculptor Association.
During the years 2008 - 2011 Elana painted in a master's class under the
guidance of the artist and teacher Mrs. Maya Cohen Levy.
Over the years Elana has exhibited in Israel and abroad. |
